About

Hi, I’m Beth Freeman!

This is Beth's Face

I want to help yoga be a sweet, gentle presence in your life. I want to help you ‘do yoga,’ everyday. That doesn’t mean heading to the studio, it doesn’t even HAVE to mean unrolling your mat. To me, it means being mindful of your body, being present to what’s happening in your life, letting your breathing help you through stressful situations.

I LOVE yoga!

Storytime:

I started yoga right out of college – I’d moved to Denver and I just LOVED the balanced challenge of difficult online classes – I was hooked after I started a class that was much too difficult for me. I found out though – that was the wrong motivation for me. I’m the type of person who tends to move on after mastering something – and that happened. I “got” yoga, got skilled, got out – how terrible! But yoga came back – sweet little yearnings for a conscious breath, for a mindful stretch. So I came back to yoga. Yoga is layered, and present-moment – it doesn’t need to be mastered! It needs to be practiced, in whatever small increments you can give to it. I’m so happy I get that now.

I’m the creator of FanTheEmber and a certified yoga teacher. I’ve taught a variety of clients – from former NFL players to office workers getting a bit more exercise and sweetness in their life – I can adapt my lessons completely to your preferences. Things I’ll always stress in my lessons, though (because they’re the things I need most in my life, too!) are:

Safety – both physical and mental. I have the uttermost respect for you and your efforts.

Kindness – no effort is too small, and no part of you deserves anything less then the most kindness you can stand to give.

Play – makes life so so much better. Yoga can look like a serious, inward-focused thing – but what you are doing is learning how to play with all parts of your body working together. My lessons are always fun!

I hope you hang out for awhile. Check out the blog, the videos, the resources… I’d love to meet you – at a yoga studio or at your home for a private session if you’re in the Denver area. I’m sure I have things to learn from you, hopefully we can learn from each other. Thanks!

    Hey,

My mom wants private yoga lessons for Mothers Day. My dad is not adept to finding such things. She would like to do it by their pool at their house in Greenwood Village. They also have a workout room.

    Please give me a call!
